After graduating from Quinnipiac University, Madison Morris is looking to launch Leigh PR and craft her unique professional brand identity. Harnessing endless dedication and creativity, she seeks to utilize her brand to make an impact on the communications industry and position herself as a leading figure.

Timeline

3/18/24 – 5/4/24

The initial phase in establishing Leigh PR involved conducting a comprehensive content audit of Madison's academic portfolio. After compiling a list of her work and accompanying files, Madison transitioned to crafting inventory documents such as a mind map, site map, and blog plan for her new brand. 

These foundational elements not only informed the structure and content of her website but also served as a blueprint for future content creation, ensuring a cohesive and strategic approach to her brand's communication efforts.

Collection & Organization

Continuing her journey, Madison moved on to the essential step of crafting a logo and brand board that authentically reflected her passions and interests. Preferring neutral colors and drawn to the symbolism of blossoming flowers, she aimed to capture the essence of continuous growth and fresh ideas within her brand. This creative process not only mirrored Madison's personal style but also laid the groundwork for Leigh PR to resonate genuinely with her audience.

Brand Design

Social Media Branding & Strategy

The next step in the branding process was to leverage the newly crafted logo and branding to design a comprehensive social media strategy. This involved developing a content calendar and ensuring consistent branding across all social channels. The goal was to seamlessly integrate Leigh PR's identity into its social presence, fostering instant recognition and association with Madison's work.

Crafting a Business System

The last step in building Leigh PR's brand identity was to create a cohesive business system that would aid in all business communication efforts. This included creating a branded letterhead template, resume, LinkedIn profile banner, business card, cover letter template, and thank you note template for both email and traditional mail. Together, these made up Leigh PR's new business system that would help bring more awareness to the brand and further enhance its professional positioning.  

Site Building

Finally, it was time to start the site-building process. Drawing inspiration from other professional portfolios, we crafted each page of Leigh PR's website on the Squarespace platform, building and piecing together compelling case studies from past projects, and sourcing imagery to enhance the site's visual appeal. Additionally, a branded favicon was created, ensuring rapid recognition of the site as a component of Leigh PR's brand identity for new visitors and users.

Following the completion of the site-building phase, attention turned to a critical aspect of the brand's development: post-site refinement. This stage was crucial, involving a detailed review and adjustment process before the official launch. Tasks included fine-tuning the website, testing all links, ensuring the site was mobile-friendly, and strategizing for ongoing maintenance and future site additions.

At this point in the process, Leigh PR, starting as a seed of an idea, was finally ready to blossom and be shared with the rest of the world. With its roots firmly planted, the brand began to unveil its vision and welcome strategic partnerships and future collaborations.
